IFRS/IAS – how to study

I agreed with seagoat. I could not digest BPP textbook, the way they present the information is not very clear to me. I printed the material from IASPLUS to study.

Basically, I read the theory part several time then attempt the exercise.

Paper I (General Studies)
200 Marks
Duration: Two Hours
Number of Questions: 100

Paper II (Aptitude)
200 Marks
Duration: Two Hours

Step2: Main Examination
Step 3: Interview

IAS Exam General Studies comprises a vast ocean of subjects and this paper needs to be mastered in order to reach the Mains examination.

Go through the previous year question paper and take online mock test so that you can get which is your weak area and where you need to do hard work.

Why don’t you guys try the opentuition videos on the IFRS/IAS. They pretty much covers the thoery behind the standards. Its just around 2 hours per standards. You can then read on IAS plus to remember and then practice the exam kit questions for retention. I tried to read through the BPP textbook but its too bulky.
