Can you please explain bpp qst 37 part b contract with agas. Is the contract is treated as financial instrument?
Can gasnature use a hedging instrument?

Knowledge required for exam
Gas futures contract = derivative
Settled in cash = financial asset = FVTPL
Settled in gas = executory contract = outside scope of IFRS 9 = so nothing is booked until the gas is received or sent!
Keep it simple.
