Hello Tutor,
Can you please explain it to me in a simplified manner?
“Segment result is greater than or equal to 10% OF GREATER OF:
Total profits of all segments in profit and
Total losses of all segments in loss.
Thank you.
Segment a makes a profit of 100
Segment b makes a profit of 400
Segment c makes a loss of 200Total profits are 100+400 = 500
Total losses are 200Total profits are greater than total losses.
All segments which have a profit or loss in excess of 10% of 500 must be separately reported
Therefore I would report separately the results of each of the three segments above
