    Hi Mike,

any idea, how IFRS 10 and 13 are going to be examined in June?
same for new conceptual framework , what is the main difference with that old one?

    thank you! 🙂

    Hi Ansi

IFRS 10 – if asked, I can see this as a 4 or 5 mark part b to question 1. IFRS 11 is, I believe, not in the syllabus. IFRS 12? Not in the F7 syllabus. IFRS 13 – again it coud be a 4 or 5 mark part b. There doesn’t actually appear to be a huge amount new which is not already in the F7 notes – it’s an IFRS about Fair Value Measurement.

New Framework? I don’t honestly see even a 15 marker on this – there is seemingly only minor changes . To be safe, you should read the 7 or 8 pages in a study text. But will it come as a 25 mark question? I would be astonished ( in capital letters! ) if it did.

    Thanks! 🙂
    re IFRS

as for framework , of course there won’t be a whole question on that .
I was just wondering what is the principle difference between those documents.
Well , maybe it’s worth comparing those page by page 🙂 I guess that’s what i’m going to do .
