Hi guys,
I have searched online in very detailed but still not satisfied with the answers, I want to know which qualification is the absolute best option to continue studies in, after doing ACCA. As in topping up the ACCA qualification, so to increase the job chances & to get a good buck too.
I would also like the answer of this question in reference to being in Pakistan, if Possible.Thanks in advance.
In Pakistan, Go for ICAP.. I dont see any value addition in doing ICAEW after ACCA.
If you want to move outside Pakistan go for ICAEW, else ICAP would be preferrable in Pakistan.
Since ICAP has a monopoly in Pakistan most FDs and FCs would be ICAP and thus would prefer an ICAP qualified accountant working for them, thus ICAP is ideal in Pakistan.

They have partnerships with CA Australia, CA Scotland, CA South Africa, CA New Zealand and CA USA as well. No other CA body is able to boast of this. Thus, you can actively seek to work in the aforementioned countries if you have an ICAEW.
Plus, ICAEW gives you an easier access to industry out of Pakistan, whereas ACCA/ICAP could stall you if you do not have sufficient experience.I heard that CA Pakistan recognizes ICAEW, and after doing ICAEW, you’re basically equivalent to ICAP?
You have to write 3 papers of ICAEW after ICAP qualification to become an ICAEW.
And as i said, ICAEW will only be good for you if you are looking to venture outside Pakistan. If you are willing to stay in Pakistan, ICAP is good enough.
