IAS 20 Government Grants and Disclosure of Government Assistance

Hello,

In case of a government grant received to buy an asset, if the deferred income method is adopted. What is the double entry when the grant is actually received? Would it be debit cash and credit the asset, but then depreciation and the deferred income release to PL is still calculated based on the full price of the asset?
