Should storage costs for raw materials be included as part of the cost of inventory?
This a basic accounting question – way outside SBR

Thanks, sorry to ask you again. I too saw storage cost being excluded. But in a sum, I saw storage cost being included in cost for raw materials stored in third party warehouse, that’s where my doubt came.
If it’s stored at third party, I would have thought that you might be able to ‘stock’ the storage costs – incremental cost of the inventory
