The guidance said that is acceptable to use only secondary data.,
But i did not make any charts because i dont have data to make charts
My topic is the topic 18 marketing strategy of an organisation and its effectiveness
Will i fail?
May 13, 2014 at 8:21 pm #168717No primary data is required in topic 8, but I am not aware of topic 18. Sun never sets on the Open tuition, some one will attend your query very soon. Friend don’t be upset. I my self has been wounded by Cupid’s (OB) golden arrow, but still laughing.
May 13, 2014 at 10:08 pm #168729Hi @kontuoa – my you have been busy today asking lots of questions 🙂
It is not essential to use primary data for this topic but remember that the company objectives and its marketing objectives are linked to its marketing strategy and marketing mix so you need to concentrate on this link. The 4 / 7 Ps of marketing would feature highly in this topic and possibly 5C situation analysis (company, collaborators, customers, competitors, and climate).
Topic 18 will require an assessment of the effectiveness of the organisation’s marketing strategy, so evidence of this e.g. increased sales or market share should give you an opportunity to provide some graphs and charts ( you should try to include some graphic type illustrations as they break up the text and make your work more interesting – @bassaniobroke and I covered this in the ‘Top Tips for the RAP’ Forum, so take a look).
If you want to go all out for it -market segmentation (again a graph/ chart opportunity) and market positioning could be mentioned (all appropriately backed up with researched references). Marketing costs to turnover is another ratio you could illustrate with a graph – looking at it over a few years
Hope that give you (and any others considering doing this topic) a few ideas 🙂
