ViolettaAugust 14, 2016 at 3:59 pm #333137Violetta, it is difficult to help you since you don’t mention what options are available to you.
Have you already passed F2? If not, then that would a good combination because of the many overlaps. The other Fundamental papers have really nothing in common with F5.August 16, 2016 at 3:11 pm #333589Good afternoon,
I was awarded an exemption from the exam F1-F4. I have only 2 years for the rest of exams… Please be so kind and give me some instruction which exams will be easier to study and pass together…. Now I have almost 4 months to learn and sit the exams. I can study the material 2 hours per every working day and all Sunday.
Have a nice day.August 16, 2016 at 10:38 pm #333690Hello,
As I have already mentioned in my previous post there are no overlaps between F5 and the remaining fundamental papers. So the choice will really depend on your personal preference and background.I personally found F6 and F8 to be some of the easiest F papers.
F6 (UK variant) is a numerical paper, with a lot of details to be remembered but overall not difficult. I cannot praise enough the lectures from the OT Tax tutor: straightforward, funny and comprehensive. I scored 80% in this one, with two months preparation (while working full time).
F8 is a wordy paper. Tbh I found this to be one of the most boring papers ever…
I prepared it in 3 weeks using the brilliant lectures of the Audit tutor (simple and straight to the point) and scrapped a 54 pass.My suggestion is: download the OT notes for these two papers, listen to some of the lectures and decide which one you prefer.
You might also consider F7 and F9 but those are more challenging than F6 and F8 IMO. Good luck.August 17, 2016 at 6:42 pm #333812Hello,
thank you very much for your instruction. I have to study at the beginning the syllabus and take a decision which it will be the first. Over the past two months I studied f3 despite the fact that I received an exemption. I’m thinking about F7 now…. The reason is a schedule of my professional life -till and of November I have a quiet time. That’s mean for me that during next months I have to be focused on the most difficult level.
Thank you for your patience:)
I will let you know about a result if you do not mind.
Ciao
