I have been looking for Approved learning partners to learn from since ACCA recommends it. But there is a huge price difference in the courses offered by Kaplan and firstintuition when compared to local Sri Lankan Approved learning providers. Why is that? Isn’t it same course, be it Kaplan or Alpha business school in Sri Lanka?

And one more thing I am concerned about is Since the Lectures for PM and other subjects as well, except for tax in Opentuition are quite old. Can it still be used to sit exams on June 2024 Session?

Thank you very much in advance.

The tuition companies are private companies and therefore they can charge whatever prices they want to. I cannot comment as to whether any of them might be better than the others.

As far as our lectures are concerned, they are all up-to-date for the current syllabus. Obviously there is no point in re-recording lectures on topics for which the syllabus has not changed. Where there are syllabus changes we review all of our lectures and re-record where necessary. Tax is obviously an exception because although the syllabus does not change, the tax rules all change each year which is why they always need re-recording.
