If a question specifically asks you to give 5 audit procedures, but in your answer you write 10 procedures. how will it be marked?
Will the marker simply score the first 5? or will he/she read through the full 10 procedures and award marks up to the maximum marks for the question?
They would read the first 5. Markers are under time pressure and probably feel under-paid so there’s little incentive to read all.
