On Monday Sam placed a notice on a noticeboard in his local supermarket: ‘For sale – A classic Honda 400 motorbike, yours for £1000. Email Sam@hh.com’. On Tuesday Dan sends him an email saying ‘It’s a deal I’ll have it for £1000’. Ted also emails on Tuesday saying ‘I’ve been after one of these for ages I’ll have it for £1200’. Sam would like to sell it to Ted.
Discuss whether or not Sam can sell the motorbike to Ted.

You can’t get questions like this nowadays

Alternatives will be given for you to select one (or possibly two)

What do you believe that answer to be?

(and what time did Dan send his email and what time did Ted send his?)
