    Dear Sir
While practicing the questions , I have come across the porters diamond and Porters 5 forces. I am very confused when to use which model and if there are any possible key words that i can look for in a question to help identify?

    Kindly help

    Thankyou

Porter’s Diamond does not deal with companies: it deals with countries and what makes them competitive. So, if there is information about a country such as its natural resources or needs of its citizens this suggests the diamond will be useful

5 Forces deals with companies: their competitors, threat of entrants etc for the five forces.
