Hi everyone,
Grateful if any1 can shed some light on how to tackle this paper, given that I did some Finance modules (Uni), 2 years ago.
Thanks.
Well, P4 is not hell of a different than F9, you can pass it with F9 knowledge alone if you have studied it well.
If I were you in a state of having F9 exempt rather than fooling and trying an attempt I would get coaching classes but since we have OT, I will suggest you to go through OT Lectures and notes and if you need any help, you can ask anyone on the forum, including duffer like me.
I agree with zlip792.
You really must go through everything in Paper F9. There is not so much extra to learn for P4, but it is essential that you really do understand F9 properly.
Best way to tackle P4, don’t do it…….but if you must, then focus and study hard.
It is one of the amazing paper I came across, it helps you understand how company’s share price is makeup of your investment decisions, how to make dividend decision, whether to take project or not. One word for this paper “Brilliant”. Issue with paper is that we focus too hard on getting the right answer, I didn’t manage to find it in both F9 and P4 but what I did explain procedure and did whatever calculation with assumption I can. Examiner don’t require calculation, he requires your understanding regarding stuff.
