May seem like a bit of a silly question but looking at the past exam questions and the OT notes, it seems that for Q1 in particular you need to understand how to apply the various models (SWOT,PESTEL, etc etc) but my question is more about Q2-Q4 – do you need to know a lot of the theory off by heart or is it more about using common sense?

Like for P1 – I felt you needed to know a lot of the theory so you could regurgitate it nearly word for word.

Is it the same for questioins 2,3 & 4 for P3?

    Thanks

You are rarely, if ever, asked to regurgitate/explain a theory in P3. However, you might be asked to apply a specific theory and if you don’t know it then common sense won’t get you many marks – no matter how much sense you talk.
