well look! the first module for syllabus is knowladge based! you need to understand ethics.

THen Internal audit .. you need to know how, and what are they. (no big details)

the most imporant parts starts from Materiality and then test of conrols, audit evidence and stuff!

i hope it makes sense now

This was an answer to a similar question.

“For f8, study opentuition notes for each unit. Then practice bpp kit for that unit. After that, check pocket notes for additional theory which is not covered in opentuition notes and bpp kit. Whenever you find anything to memorise, write it down somewhere or highlight it.

Do this for every unit except “audit evidence”. In this unit, you can leave some scenario questions from the kit if you dont have time to complete it.

Before the exam, revise everything you highlighted/wrote down and read through one or two past papers. You will pass for sure :)”

Hi Admin, I do have serious headache on how to revise on the audit procedures(Substantive & Test of Control)? I seems try to memorize the verbs and document and also the assertions, but end up seems useless! Urgent. Thank You Very Much.

Procedures are done to check the audit assertions.

For a given area (fixed assets), logically think about what you would do to find out if the assertions (existence) holds true.

Write down ACCA COVER. Write down whatever procedure you can think of to assure these.
