I’m not even sure how to properly word this question. But I find when I am answering questions with calculations (FCF, wacc etc) I spend ages trying to figure out where to start and how to map out the answer. I don’t have the same issue with the written part, just the calculations.
Currently I am trying to memorise the format used in the answers for past exam papers but this just adds more stuff that I need to memorise. I would rather understand it so that it comes more naturally to me, if that makes sense.
Does anyone have any tips?
