Dear John, I’ve printed the lecture notes and took notes on them while watching your lectures, but I don’t know how to revise the lecture notes.
In the past, when I was studying for other subjects such as math, I just reread the lecture notes to deeply understand them and then do a lot of exercises. It worked well for me. Later I got to know about a flashcards software (Anki) which could help people memorize knowledge for a relatively long period. So I decided to use it to prepare for my FM exam. I made lots of flashcards instead of reading lecture notes. But I feel that I was just reciting those concepts and formulas and they mean nothing to me. I want to give up using flashcards, but I’m afraid that once I finished the exam, I will forget all the knowledge in FM, which I don’t wish to happen.
I’m really confused and anxious now. Could you please give me some advice? Thank you!

However the most important way of revising is to practice more and more questions. You must buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA Approved Publishers (BPP and Kaplan). They are full of past exam and other exam standard questions for practice.
