    tariqkath,

    abj2513 is right.

    You don’t need to remember them , and honestly, even at P2 level it’s unrealistic to remember those standards.
    All you need is to be able to apply main provisions of those standards in your test questions. F3 tests don’t go too deep and most tricky things that they might include are repetetive. So all u need is to practice as many tests as it’s possible and revise what u have learnt. Don’t forget to read examiner’s reports as well , it often focuses on areas which are hard for students and shows the way how to deal with them.

    Try to figure out, which areas of F3 cause you most problems and ..go smash ’em all! πŸ™‚ You can do it!

    good luck!

    @tariqkath,

    Well, right before taking the exam for sure u need a revision! But even more important is to have a clear mind and positive attitude! πŸ™‚

    I should say that F3 questions are sometimes extremely annoying. Because from first glance , they look obvious and you feel that u can do it. But then u try and the answer doesn’t match any of options, then again and again …
    I remember my F3 ..oh God …i simply hated it. There were some questions on which i spent looots of time simply because they seemed so easy and strighforward, however,now matter which approach or method i used, i never managed to find the answer that would be among options! πŸ™‚
    So …don’t be like that.
    First solve all the questions that u can solve. That will give u confidence! And if u see that u are wasting too much time on some question then leave it! yes leave it!
    don’t tell yourself, maybe just one more minut ..maybe just 5 more minutes. Take a deep breath and leave it. You won’t fail because of 1, 2 , 3 5 or even 10 questions.
    But you will fail if u waste too much time on any of them and then end up doing guesswork for the rest of your paper due to time pressure.

    But remember, the better u prepare now, the less likely u will face any of that problem. Practice , practice and practice those standard exam questions. Do read examiner’s reports from ACCA website (in case ur kit doesn’t include them). Try to get a feel for those questions ..
    And if u feel any topic is hard, don’t skip it (unless it’s pure theory) . Try to think what is causing problem : maybe your basics are shaky. Maybe u psycologically don’t like some topics ..or well , words!! like tax, equity, discounting, inflation ..whatever those are for u!
    We have tutor’s forum here (u can post in F7 tutors forum), we have chat room , where u can discuss it with other students.
    Don’t leave any of topic that u hate, this will as well save u from pressure during exam πŸ™‚

    Best of luck !
