I can understand your frustration but there’s no need for that kind of language even though you have doctored the spelling :-(((

I assume that you have a revision kit / exam kit from one of the reputable publishers

Can I assume that you have worked through that revision kit and attempted EVERY question at least 3 times each (hoping that you didn’t write your attempts in the book because that would have been very silly!)

Have you identified where you’re going wrong – and I mean in more detail than simply “F7”

You’re on top of all the consolidation techniques?

And preparation of financial statements for a single entity?

And interpretation of financial statements and cash flows?

And you’ve done all the mcqs that you can find from every source you can think of?

And you write questions on the Ask ACCA Tutor F7 forum page on Opentuition (this is the first time that I’ve seen your name, I think)

Well, if you’ve done all that, then it must be down to poor examination technique

    What do you think?

This is the first time i have written and joined this website , to the questions you have asked earlier yes i have done that not 3 times but atleast twice of each . I dont know , mcqs just get on my nerves i dont know how to do and what to do . They seem so confusing at the time .

With the chaneg of syllabus and stuff i dont know what to read from the book or and what not to read , in the pass examination consolidation has hardly been tested and now even with more mcqs its gets harder harder , i dont even know the best way to sort out the mcqs in exams and i am not even confident anymore , and with 5 weeks left from the dec 2016 attempt i am clueless as to what to do and how to pass this paper .

Where are the easy marks like ppl used to say in the past 75 marks f7 , single entry consolidation cashflow ratios you do these 4 and you can 50% but now with all these short questions and mcqs , how to study , and what to study

    Study mcqs!

    Get used to them.

Get used to the style and the tricks and the importance of single words that could easily mislead you

The key to success in these exams is …. an 8 letter word beginning with “prac….” and ending with “….tice”

The more you do, the easier the exam!

I have no idea where you are from but it’s possible that you watched the television show “Who wants to be a millionaire” In the UK variant of that show, the question master Chris Tarrant could often be heard to say “And remember folks, these questions are only easy if you know the answer”

F7 is easy ….. if you know your stuff

And you get to know your stuff by endless hours of practice

When you come across a problem that you don’t understand, post on this page in this forum again and I shall get back to you to explain the issue

    But don’t give up!
