I always lose mark on Multiple Choice Questions. How can I improve it?
May 3, 2017 at 3:17 pm #384721There really is only one way and I can answer your question with a single 8 letter word
I’ll give you a couple of hints …
1) the word starts with “prac….”
2) the word ends with “….tice”
Sunny, I promis you … practice is the key
there are just so many different ways in which the same question can be asked
OK, every once in a blue moon there will appear a different question that no one has dreamed of before, but they are rare
Why do you imagine that ACCA don’t publish the mcqs?
Because there is a limited number of them and, if they were to publish them all, it would take a conscious effort to fail the exam
As a famous golfer stated, when asked whether he thought he had been very lucky on the occasion of his victory in one of the major classics, “Yes, I was lucky. But, you know, it’s a strange thing … the more I practice the luckier I get”
Open your revision kit and try to spend two / three hours a day going through mcqs (and don’t write your attempts in the revision kit itself. That way your second and third attempts at the same question will not be influenced by your earlier attempts!)
And, of course, post on this forum whenever you hit a problem and I’ll try to help
OK?
