How to I include new asset in relevant info for decision making

Hi i am currently doing a project on relevant info for decision making.
The issue here is to make or buy a product offered by another company.
If the company decides to make on its own, they are required to purchase a new machine to produce the product.
Do I include the machine cost when calculating the cost price for each unit to compare with the product price offered by another company?
