Q – a company wants to measure the learning rate that it has achieved with 1 new product.the first item produced took 6 hours to make and the average time taken for the first 16 units was 3.3 hours
What has been the learing rate for this product to nearst 1%???
Plz do answer dis…
Since the time for the first is 6 hours, then the average time per item for 16 units will be 6 x r^4 (where r is the learning rate) It is to the power 4 because 16 is doubling four times.
So 6 x r^4 = 3.3
so r = fourth root of 3.3/6 = 0.86 or 86%
