I am thinking of attempting 2 papers this sitting but I’m not too sure that it’s a good idea. I thought combining F8 and F9 together but won’t it be too intense for full time working mother?

I did studies for F9 already about 8 months ago. Unfortunately I didn’t manage to go to the exam. Now I need to go thought all materials again but it’s nothing actually new to learn. I only need to do lots of question practise which is about 1.5hrs per question and you obviously need to do lots of it to have a chance of passing exam.

So I thought maybe taking F8 (new paper) together with F9 (only practising) would be ok. Bare in mind, during the week the only time I have for studying is from 9pm in the evening. By this time I’m usually very tired so sometimes I skip study sessions:( Do you think 2 papers is still manageable? Is F8 very intense?

F8 is a pure theory paper. So if you give only 30 mins to 1 hour daily from now,you will be able to complete the text in around 30 days (i-e febuarary). In march you can read the book again, thoroughly this time. And in april you can practice kit. You’d have a full month for revision.
The good thing about f8 is you do not have to study for hours a day if you start from now!
Personally I find this paper really interesting and easy. And totally manageable if doing on self study.

    I attempted F8 and F9 in June session and I passed F9.
F8 I failed in Dec session again. It’s up to the person not only
the time that one is going to spend on a paper.
For me F8 is tough, F9 not at all.
When I went out of the examination hall (of F8) I was very satisfied from the answers which
I gave. But obviously my perception of the things is quite different from those of the examiner :-)!!!

Wish you good luck for both exams!!!
And I am sure that if you start from mid February you will manage to pass both.

F8 is pretty easy if you have any practice in audit.
If no – it can be time consuming, but you should read several previous exams answers anyway to make sure you understand what kind of answers the examiner expects you to provide!
