Hi,
Can you advice me regarding how many points to be written as per marks allocated.
For example.. 12 Marks = How many points to write?
In June 2012, I wrote 1 point for 1 mark and at the end I could not complete the whole exam paper.
How much can you write in 1.3 minutes? The mantra of 1 point earns 1 mark is, I believe, correct. So, in a 12 mark question, you have 12 * 1.8 minutes = 21.6 minutes.
Of that time period, 12 / 2 = 6 minutes should be spent planning what your 12 points are going to be.
But that means you now only have 21.6 – 6 minutes = 15.6 minutes to write out your answer. And that’s only 1.3 minutes per point.
So, again. how much can you write in 1.3 minutes?
“…I could not complete the whole exam paper” suggests that you’re taking longer than 1.3 minutes to write out each point
