how many presentations on power point should i need to make?

    one?

because in the guidelines appendix 6 – checklist it asks

have you included copies of your power point presentation slides for your SLS?

what does that mean?- another presentation on the SLS? thus total 2 power point?

@kontoua – Yes there seems to be a bit of confusion over this as the Info pack / Guidelines seem to be a bit ambiguous (perhaps someone needs to feedback to OBU on this…)

There is only ONE Presentation which is supposed to be based principally on your RAP FINDINGS (rather than why you chose your topic and all the limitations etc) and should last 15 minutes

I think the confusion arises because in the Assessment Criteria (Appendix 3) there are two elements, ‘Self-Reflection’ and ‘Communication’ that both come under the heading ‘Skills and Learning Statement’. However traditionally SLS has been used to refer to the written self-reflection part – the 2,000 word statement and ‘Communication’ to the Presentation.

For the presentation concentrate on the key issues and remember that it is supposed to engage the audience – so avoid ‘information overload’ that is slides crammed full of words (use bullet points) and putting too many graphs on the same slide. Ask yourself the basic question – could someone reasonably be able to read and take in the information I am presenting in 15 mins? (try it out on your family and ask them to be honest if they find it a struggle) Good luck! 😀
