    Hi there,
I want to do the CBE exams for F1/F2/F3 between now and August. If I pass all of them, how many papers will I be allowed to take in the December sitting? Will it just be F4, as the other 3 will be considered as part of the ‘maximum of 4’ papers? I did not intend to register to take any paper exams in the June sitting so how would these 3 papers be counted? If I take them over say June/July/August, I just wondered what the maximum number of papers permitted will be for the paper based exams in December.
    Any advice appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Gemma.

    Hi Jonesqe,

I have copied the following from the ACCA website:

“You are eligible to sit a maximum of four papers in a six-month cycle, in any combination of computer-based and paper-based exams. The cycles are:

    1 February to 31 July
    and
    1 August to 31 January

If you wish to take computer-based exams, please indicate this on your exam entry form each session. You can then enter to sit the balance of your four exams at the paper-based session. For example, you can enter for F1 and F2 by CBE and then elect to sit F3 and any one paper from F4 to F9 at the paper-based session.”

    Regards,
    Tammi

That’s great information Tammi. Just one more question, I have received notification from ACCA as a reminder to register for the June exams. If I take the exams by CBE, then do I still have to register for June but state that they will be CBE?? Still unclear on that point.

    Regards, Gemma.
