Hi all
I was wondering if a failure in any of the fundamental papers (once or twice for the same paper for example) will affect your eligibility or the degree classification?
I will appreciate if you would give a quick response, I’m kind of worried after today’s paper :'(
June 14, 2011 at 8:19 pm #84391I would also like to know this answer, i have completed all the F papers and passed now (with 3 fails along the way!!!).. will the average %calc be based on the first time you sit the papers if this has been a fail? If so no point in me even bothering, i do already have a degree but an accounting degree would be nice too 🙂
Help me decide.. also i probably wouldnt start until all the other exams are finished is this allowed??
Thanks

June 18, 2011 at 2:42 pm #84393A failure in any paper doesn’t affect your BSc. degree. Your average will be calculated on the papers when you pass them, so don’t worry.
June 19, 2011 at 9:36 pm #84394Thats good news then!
How much does it cost to do the OBU? And once you have chosen your topic what is the deadline to hand in? What tuition is offered?
My average for f4-f9 is only 57.5.. if they round up i guess that will be 58% and then have to achieve a A in RAP to get a 2:1, i want to do this but already have a 2.1 degree. Might not be worth the hassle but any additional strings to the bow are a bonus i guess.
Thanks
