I started revision back in January as I was exempt from F3 and F7 (probably from about 5 years ago now) so am very out of practice and basically starting from scratch.

It is now two months until the exam and I am only on chapter 4 and have 19 chapters left. How do I best utilise my time? I am booked on Kaplan revision and QBE days, however they are a good 7 weeks away and I am nowhere even near attempting mock questions. Panicking ever so slightly, guidance is much appreciated.

Watch OpenTuition lectures, read the textbook (if you have free time), and more important – practice past exam questions by yourself!!! And it really helps to practice questions with clock, under time-pressure as it will be during exam.

I have read F7 textbook and after I finished it – I tried to solve exam questions by myself. Firstly I found it hard because I didn’t know how to apply theory efficiently. But after I solved some of questions (with the help of answers) I became more confident in myself and started to solve questions without looking in answers given. And that was good feeling 🙂

    Thanks,

Are there any particular topics to focus more of my time?

At this stage you have to focus on all topics, but ensure you know you consol accounts.
