Hi sir, i just wanna check with you if the statements below are the disadvantages of historical cost ?
1) They contain mixed values; some items are at current values, some at out of date values
2) They overstate gearing in the statement of financial position
1) correct – think of the different bases of the valuation of TNCA when compared with inventory
2) correct
