Sir, for TSR i have always done sum of dividends+(closing share price-opening share price) divided by opening share price, however over here its divided by the current share price, shouldnt it be last year’s closing share price?

Yes, and the answer is inconsistent.
The Share price gain/loss % has been calculated on the opening share price correctly. The dividend yield should also have been calculated on the opening share price (but the answer has used the closing share price).
