    Hey,

So I have passed 6 of the F-Papers and have 3 to go until Part-Qualified.
I have missed the boat for tuition now at Kaplan/BPP etc for the June 2017 exam sitting…However, I am feeling determined to self-study and hopefully squeeze one exam in June 2017.

    My question is simple:

    1. Which paper would you feel is the easiest to self-study in a 5-week period leading up to the exam: F5 Performance Management, F7 Financial Reporting or F9 Financial Management? (I appreciate everyone has their opinion and strengths when it comes to specific papers but generally speaking ^).

    2. Can this be done in 5-weeks having never studied for any of the above 3 topics.

Thank you very much in advance, I would really appreciate some help/guidance/motivation 🙂

    Tom

I would look at it from financial accounting and management accounting point of view, which one of the two interests you more?

    F7 is financial accounting
    F5 & F9 are management accounting

Have a look at the historic pass rate, you can gauge the difficulty from there.

It’s a while since I did the exams but F5 was considerably easier than F7 and F9.

I’d look at the specimen papers for each and pick based on that.

It’s definitely doable in 5 weeks but really need to get your head down (I’ve only ever self studied)

    In terms of which one……

I’ve only got F9 left. I felt that F5 was “easier” than F7 when I was studying it but got a higher mark in F7.

F9 is an absolute b*s*a*d in my opinion. Failed it with 30 in December….resit incoming in June 🙁
