I am taking F7 in the upcoming June session. I really need some good and useful exam tips from anyone who has passed F7. I was exempted from F1, F2, and F3 and so I don’t have a good base for F7. Can anyone please tell me how to prepare for F7 so that i can pass in the first attempt. I can’t take regular classes so I am relying on online videos and opentuition. Please help!!

April 5, 2016 at 2:29 pm #309066Go through consolidations, cash flows, accounts preparation and ratio analysis / interpretation from John’s lectures on F3
Listen to the F7 lectures as you work through the course notes – particularly for consolidations and cash flows …. but don’t ignore all the other chapters
Practice the chapter questions at the end of each chapter
Practice the mini-exercises towards the end of the free course notes
Get yourself an exam kit / revision kit from a reputable publisher and get practicing the mcqs and the consolidations, the mcqs, the cash flows, the mcqs and the accounts preparation questions from that revision kit. And the mcqs.
Do that for two months and you’ve got a chance of success in June
And, when you come across something that you don’t understand, post your question on the Ask ACCA Tutor forum for F7 and I shall get back to you

May 4, 2016 at 2:31 pm #313688I’m sorry for the late reply been a little busy. This is how I managed to study in three weeks
1. Went through the bpp text book in five days. 12-16 hrs daily
2. Did all questions in bpp revision kit 5 days.
3.Went through Becker revision kit in 3days
4. Re-did the bpp revision kit again in 4 days.
5. Did the specimen exams and mocks plus open tuition mcqs revision in the remaining 3days.This isn’t an ideal plan but works for Me because I work . Do my undergraduate and acca at the same time .(took leave off work)
