Hi all.
I need your advice, especially senior students on which professional level exam to sit next.
I am struggling to choose between SBL and SBR. The other two which I am planning to sit are APM and AFM.
I found PM and FM exams interesting for me, but is it worth to start with one of the APM and AFM?
Also, I passed FR long time ago and did not revised it. Is it good idea to revise first FR and then start studying SBR or should I first sit SBL?
Thank you in advance for all your replies.
June 28, 2020 at 8:49 pm #574891If you try “sbl or sbr” in the site search (and “sbr or sbl”) you should find a number of relevant comments. You don’t need to revise FR per se but you should be prepared to refer back to assumed knowledge if you find that you are struggling with the basics.
July 8, 2020 at 4:02 pm #576351I may have to postpone my exam sitting to December 2020 instead of September 2020 for FR and FM. Will there be significant syllabus changes in those two subjects in December 2020.
July 8, 2020 at 7:32 pm #576365Please remember to post new queries on different themes to a new post with a suitable subject name. The ACCA exam year is from September to the following August (with limited exceptions, e.g. for tax) so there are no change between September and December – you can confirm this by downloading the syllabuses – click on ACCA qualification on this page https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/exam-support-resources.html and select your exam(s). Resources are clearly labelled/signposted.
