Hello everybody!
I have my f4(eng)cbe on October 31.I have already studied bpp study text once and now I am revising it.I cant revise more than first 8 chapters before exam.I am so slow.
BUT the problem is that during revision I found out that I had forgotten some topics and revision was necessary(but I dont have time).
Now my plan is to revise first 8 chapters, then solve bpp+kaplan kits and attempt f4 specimen and 3 acca online practice tests.I cant do anything more.
DO YOU THINK THIS IS ENOUGH TO PASS?OR touch 60 MARKS?
Is the exam too hard.I dont wanna fail.October 25, 2016 at 3:18 pm #345976I felt a similar situation in F1 before but I passed it at 76 marks.I am not so good with theory but with numerical exams I am excellent,I have passed 5 exams with 94+ marks.
Don’t want to go down this time.October 28, 2016 at 2:09 pm #346445Just practice mcqs and mtqs
Never mind revising 5, 6, 7, 8 , 9, 10 23 chapters
Just practice mcqs and mtqs
get most of them wrong first time through
Get 60% wrong second time through
40% wrong third time through
10% wrong fourth time through
But DON’T write your attempts in the revision kit itself. Write on a separate piece of paper
November 4, 2016 at 7:19 pm #347482Passed on 31 October at 91% Mike 🙂
Thank you for the support 🙂April 12, 2017 at 3:37 pm #381042Omg how do I pass this module I’m struggling so much don’t understand or remebe anything ?
April 15, 2017 at 3:02 pm #381425Hello mike can you please suggest how do I start F4.
I had an attempt abt 2 years ago.
Do study opentuition notes or reading bpp book is necessary
reply on emailApril 18, 2017 at 2:39 pm #382456There’s no way I’m starting emailing students!
Whenever you want a guaranteed response from me you must post it on the Ask ACCA Tutor forum and not on this genral forum
How to pass – hide your study text in a dark room where you never go in
Open a revision kit / exam kit and start answering mcqs and mtqs
Just practice mcqs and mtqs
get most of them wrong first time through
Get 60% wrong second time through
40% wrong third time through
10% wrong fourth time through
But DON’T write your attempts in the revision kit itself. Write on a separate piece of paper

April 26, 2017 at 8:29 am #383917Q. Which of the following correctly applies to the standard of proof in a criminal case?
A It must be proved beyond reasonable doubt
B It must be proved on the balance of probabilities
C It lies with the prosecution
D It lies with the defence
Sir in your opinion the correct answer is, A or is it C?
The Dec’14 answer provider by examiner is C .
i wondering the answer not A ?April 27, 2017 at 9:59 am #384113I am attending college in September for F4 with the view of sitting the CBE soon after, therefore I am learning as much now as I can with the lectures and questions on here.
With the computer based exams is there as much emphasis on learning all the cases?
Any help people can provide is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Liam
April 29, 2017 at 8:23 pm #384318I think its a mistake of the book. The original question I saw on ACCA website was about “the burden of proof”, so the answer C is correct. If they ask about the standard of proof then it should be A.
May 3, 2017 at 4:46 pm #384738You need to be very careful here!
The burden of proof lies with the prosecution
The standard of proof is beyond reasonable doubt
Oanhoanh is therefore correct
October 15, 2019 at 4:15 pm #549665I passed F4 Glo today, rate 67%, 3 weeks self-learning.
Thank you, Mike, for your method, I did exactly what you said, practiced all questions in revision kit couple of times, and reviewed my understanding using Opentuition revision note.
Content of real exam is not very different, they just ask in the different style.October 16, 2019 at 9:33 pm #549805That’s great news Anh, well done
Onwards now to the other skills papers
March 14, 2020 at 5:16 am #565229Hi planing for f4 any tips
March 14, 2020 at 9:25 pm #565267My advice has not changed since my first post on this thread
Read that and then, if you still need any tips, post again … but my advice is likely to be just the same
OK?
