    Hi,

I’ve passed the advanced tax paper already, and I need to choose which other one to take now. Could you help me choose please?!

In the fundamental level, I scored most highly in the tax and financial management papers. They are also the ones I enjoyed the most.

I’m not very good at working out complicated mathematical sums under pressure, therefore is performance management unsuitable then? Is advanced financial management particularly hard? Should I consider advanced audit and assurance?

I’m leaning towards financial management, but I’d be grateful for any advice.

    Many thanks.

I am in the same position as you: F6 and F9 are the two papers that I enjoyed the most and where, incidentally, I scored the highest marks.

As a result I chose P4 and P6 as my optional papers.

I hated F8 (boring….) and didn’t care for F5 (I have never had any exposure to management accounting).

I think you should go for P4.
A solid knowledge of F9 will help you greatly and you will know from the start that you are going to enjoy your journey, even though it is a challenging paper.

    Good luck!
