I am trying to get back into study of ACCA exams after almost 7 years “away” – I took seriously ill end of 2006 so couldn’t sit the December exam & I’ve not studied since as firm I worked for would not pay for resits (but which I don’t need to do resits since the fundamentals & professional came in), then recession hit & I left a job for a job which was then rescinded (so unemployed for 8 months) then worked in industry in a job I didn’t “need” the qualification (so they wouldn’t pay & I couldn’t afford it).
As my “deadline” for finishing exams, etc is June 2017, I have 7 sittings to pass 8 exams (luckily my experience is banked) but as I am currently unemployed & cannot get financial help to study, I just wondered if anyone had passed their exams using the notes & lectures from here (this is the only free website I have found for study)

I would say you need an exam kit in addition of OT. You can buy cheap used kit, or BPP ebook Kit which is pretty cheap as well, if need for updated version. I have had also study text, but I never really read the whole book, only some subjects I’ve seen constantly coming up in old exams I didn’t quite understand. But for that, you can use google for free 🙂
A lot of practise on past year questions is important and these are available online for free.. 🙂
