Is accounting process comes under high strategic importance and is it complex ?
I couldn’t answer it myself.
Thanks for the support.It is not necessarily particularly complex and tends to be very stable.
There is no reason why it could not be outsourced and many companies outsource receivables to factors and wages and salaries to other providers.
Of course, some companies can use accounting information more strategically eg uncovering sales patterns, cost patterns etc and they might prefer to keep it in house.
