    Ronald a toy busness, Ruffus, many years ago. Although Ronald used to keep firm control in the early days, recently he has been happy to delegate authority to a vibrant new team of toy enthusiasts, although he remains Chairman of the Board The team have brought out new toy ranges and are determined to make Ruffus the leading toy manufacturer

    Which of Handy’s cultures is closest to the current situation at Ruffus?

    The answer given is Zeus but my opinion, then answer is Athena. Why is it so?

    I classify Handy’s cultural types as:

    Task, person, power and role. I don’t think you need to know the Greek gods

    Seems to me that the company has moved from power to task ie less control and enthusiasts allowed to move the company forward ‘ get the job done’.

    I agree with you…it was Zeus but is now Athena.
