Hi sir, for calc of receivables turnover, i couldnt get the ans 38.65 days (2007) and 36.50 days (2011), my working is as follows.
700/70 * 365 days = 3650 (2011)
Is the above wrong?
Also, for gearing, i had calculated in this manner, 70 / (100+140+70). Is this correct
Receivable days=trade receivable/Revenue*365
as per question:
70/700*365=36.50 days…
Gearing calculation is fine.
Collection period = 70/(700/365) = 36.5 ie Receivables divided by sales per day.
