Hello sir,
Can you please help me with the BPP question no. 311 part a.
While calculating variable overheads why didn’t they deduct the fixed overheads?May 25, 2018 at 6:12 pm #453942??
May 25, 2018 at 6:45 pm #453952Why the ‘??’
Do you really expect that we sit in front of the computer for 24 hours a day and answer instantly? We say that we will answer within 24 hours, and I usually answer much faster than that!! I am online now, but you have had to wait until I have answered all the other questions on the 5 papers I teach.
Please do not do that again – we are providing this service at no cost to you, and again I always answer within 24 hours 🙂
Maybe I am misunderstanding your question, but why do you want to subtract the fixed overheads? The variable overheads are said in the question to be 150% of the labour rates, and that is what has been done in the answer.
May 25, 2018 at 10:35 pm #453984I am sorry sir.
Actually I had tried the same question several times but was not being able to calculate it, so I thought of asking you again and didn’t realise that my way of asking was so unusual.
I’ll not do that again, I apologise.Thanks 🙂
May 26, 2018 at 9:34 am #454052No problem, and you are welcome 🙂
