    Hello sir,
Can you please help me with the BPP question no. 311 part a.
While calculating variable overheads why didn’t they deduct the fixed overheads?

    Why the ‘??’

Do you really expect that we sit in front of the computer for 24 hours a day and answer instantly? We say that we will answer within 24 hours, and I usually answer much faster than that!! I am online now, but you have had to wait until I have answered all the other questions on the 5 papers I teach.

Please do not do that again – we are providing this service at no cost to you, and again I always answer within 24 hours 🙂

Maybe I am misunderstanding your question, but why do you want to subtract the fixed overheads? The variable overheads are said in the question to be 150% of the labour rates, and that is what has been done in the answer.

    I am sorry sir.
Actually I had tried the same question several times but was not being able to calculate it, so I thought of asking you again and didn’t realise that my way of asking was so unusual.
I’ll not do that again, I apologise.

    Thanks 🙂
