Hello people ! I have just passed f1 to f4 and now i am left with the rest of the fs. Im thinking about giving 2 papers this december. I am a full time student but im confused as to how to manage my time daily between 2 subjects. I study from 10 am to 7 pm every week day including an hour and a half of break time. On the weekends i plan to study from 6 am to 5 pm similar break time. I’m really confused as to how to go about my business. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
August 25, 2017 at 5:34 pm #403528The total time you are dedicating towards the papers is literally MORE than necessary.
As far as the distribution of time is concerned, how about doing one paper a day and the other on the next?
August 25, 2017 at 5:43 pm #403529I guess i can do that. Complete focus on one subject per day. Maybe im just a litttle nervous about giving 2 papers in 3 months as i have never done it before. I do have a couple of other questions if you would be kind enough to answer. What paper between f5 to f9 should i attempt alone ? I was thinking about giving f5 and f9 this dec. F6 and f8 in March and if everything goes according to plan leaving f7 for june.
August 25, 2017 at 6:23 pm #403531F8 before F7 is not recommended (but not impossible) as in F8 you perform audit work on the financial reporting standards that you have learnt in F7.
F5 with F9 should be fine considering F5 has less to learn and more to practice whereas F9 has more to learn and more to practice
However, be aware that both of these exams involve calculations i.e you might want to reconsider this combination if too many numbers aren’t your thing.
I personally did F6 alone as my first skills module exam after F4. The exam has a lot of tax rules to remember and it requires practice to have them on your finger tips. With that being said, the exam itself isn’t difficult and you should be able to pass it without much difficulty.
Take a decision and just flow into learning and practising.

August 25, 2017 at 6:27 pm #403534Don’t worry too much if there are just 3 months left.
I have been attempting 2 exams after every 3 months since last year and passing them all in first attempts. However, you must know that this wasn’t a fun ride at all but I studied for much lesser duration than what you have planned to. Therefore, you should be able to pull this one through.
August 25, 2017 at 6:29 pm #403535You’re welcome and all the best.
August 25, 2017 at 6:30 pm #403536Tbh i feel better after talking with someone experienced. I was just very confused. What paper did you pair f5 with ?
August 25, 2017 at 7:06 pm #403541I did F7 with F5 but it didn’t go very well primarily due to not enough time invested by me. However, pulled them off at scores of 53 and 54 respectively.
August 25, 2017 at 7:08 pm #403542Ok. Thanks very much and all the best to you too. ?
August 25, 2017 at 7:41 pm #403545You’re welcome. Yeah thanks I need it for my final exams in December session
