    Hello dear Sir,
I have about 35 days left until my exam and I need a bit of guidance on how to approach my preparation. Can I solely rely on OpenTuition lectures and notes instead of studying from Kaplan or BPP study text?

This would free up a lot of time for me to practice past papers and the exam kit. On the other hand, if I choose to study the entire Kaplan text, it will consume a significant amount of time—time I could otherwise spend on practice.

In short, what should be my priority here? Where should I allocate my time, and how?

I partly answered this in replying to your post here https://opentuition.com/topic/march-2025-acca-aa-exam-results-instant-poll-and-comments

You can rely on the lectures and notes to understand the essentials of all core topics – but you should be prepared to use ACCA’s Study Hub content as a source of reference for futher details.

Many of the lectures are quite short https://opentuition.com/acca/aa/acca-audit-assurance-aa-lectures – less than 10 hours running time in total. Allowing for reading the details in our notes too, you should be able to get through the chapters comprehensively in a week – including attempting ALL the end-of-chapter practice tests https://opentuition.com/acca/aa/aa-practice-questions before moving on to the next chapter.

Most of your preparation should be question practice – there is lots in the ACCA Study Hub – start with a “Study Question” for each topic before attempting Revision Questions – and remember it is better to attempt fewer properly than to merely read answers (!)

You should plan your time to attempt full exams in the CBE Practice Platform and ACCA’s Pre-session Mock exam (and watch the debrief webinar).

You should attempt these Qs before reviewing these revision lectures https://opentuition.com/acca/aa/acca-aa-revision-lectures

We also have question practice here: https://opentuition.com/acca/aa/acca-aa-revision-test with full answer justifications and a Mock Exam Section A https://opentuition.com/acca/aa/acca-aa-revision-mock-exam
