Hello,
I am one of ACCA student who stated this course in December 2011. But could not attempt June 2012 as was going to deliver my beby in June so attempted my first ACCA f6 paper in December 2012. And Halas failed by 41 marks. I made some silly mistakes in my paper so was bit sure about my failure. But I was really took a lot of efforts and also enjoy studying after long break with taking care of my 2 kids. So thinking to give one more chance and giving my second attempt of f6 in June 2013. But now it’s getting to much difficllt to do study with my growing baby.can not even read more than 2-3 pages in day and so very much worried about exam.
I have started doing ACCA as I am searching work in Netherlands(I came from India because my husband works in netherland.)was doing CA in India but could not finished as I moved in Netherlands.so with ACCA I can also complete , upgrade and enhance chances to get job in Netherlands.
My question is:
Is it good decision to do ACCA course?
I got exemption in f1-f4. Could I get my money back if I quit ACCA?
Can I take a break for 1 year, and then start studing ACCA again?should I still have to pay annual subscription if I will take a break for 1 year?
Is there anybody who is gone through same situation?
And please give me some guidence about my studies for f6 paper.how can I tackle with this silly mistakes in exam? Thanks.
March 27, 2013 at 3:09 pm #1208591. The decision about whether or not it is good to do ACCA depends on your future career goals.
2. If you quit, you cannot get your money back
3. Even if you take a break (and you are free to) you would still have to pay annual subscription.
4. Many others have gone through similar or even worse situations
5. If you are studying F6, then you need to choose a suitable variant and practice practice practice.April 6, 2013 at 1:44 pm #121613Thanks
