    Hi Sir,
    First of, thanks again for your help though my ACCA learning. The videos are so useful and make things much clearer than diving straight into the study text!

    Could you confirm whether we are expected to also apply the direct method for Group statement of cash flows? The diect method is mentioned very briefly in my study text and I did not see it in your notes, so I assume we should focus more on the indirect method, would you agree?

    I think it would be very unlikely to have a question on the direct method. All you really need to know is that it is the method preferred by the accounting standard but not the method preferred by companies.
