Do we still gross up goodwill when nci proportionate method?
No. When nci proportionate, it simply means that there is no goodwill attributable to them. So fair value of parent consideration plus nci investment value ( = proportionate share of FV of SNA @ DOA ) = total S value from which we deduct the FV of SNA @ DOA.
And ALL the goodwill belongs to the parent
