I want to ask in some acca writing exams such as SBL and APM, are we punished and point-deducted due to Grammatical errors and spelling errors, in case the markers can guess what we want to say?
Thanks
Markers know that English is often not the first language of candidates and will try to ignore spelling and grammatical errors. They will try to understand what the candidate is trying to say. You are not sitting an English exam
However, this generous approach will not extend to giving marks for irrelevant statements nor will it extend to the marker filling in gaps in an argument or answer.
