Sir there was question in M/J 18 by Gooseberry Co which required impact on auditor’s report.
In examiners solution , they have written in the last para that “A basis for qualified opinion paragraph would be needed and would explain the material misstatement in relation to the incorrect treatment of research and development and the effect on the financial statements.”
Do we have to write this para nowadays?
