Example 3 of Aurimas and Oleg? Where the acquisition was $20,000 , is there any goodwill in here. No is the answer but was it because of bad purchase negotiations ? Like example 4 , where Maruta acquired the entire share of Liene for $30,000… the goodwill here was $10,000.

There’s no pups on intra-group sales. No mid-year acquisition. No disposal of the investment. No mention of any associate!
It’s an easy example to introduce the idea of consolidation and it has nothing at all to do with the negotiating skills of Aurimas nor Oleg
