Can someone pliz help me.How is negative goodwill treated when computing for group accounts.
it’s credited to group income statement / group comprehensive income statement
It’s credited to the consolidated retained earnings.Since it is a gain to us as aresults of acquiring the subsidiary business,we paid less as compared to the subsidiary’s fair values net assets.
